The note reads;

I’m travelling from Holborn to Shepherds Bush on the Central line. The train isn’t too busy. I sit down and pull out a book from my old and worn, filthy Eastpak satchel.
At a stop further on I’m aware of a youngish man putting a note and a packet of paper tissues on vacant seats beside those that are occupied.

The note reads;
Sory. I have 2 year old baby boy
I am unemployed and absolutely
Helpless to sustain him
Any help me with some some food
Or buying these tissue for some
Money thank you very much

Once he gets to the end of the carriage he makes his way back collecting both tissues and notes. At the next station he gets off and back onto the carriage behind. Working his way down the length of the train.
